How does the preparation for my session or wedding work?
Everything begins with a meeting, either in person or via video call, to get to know each other and talk about your wishes. We then stay in touch throughout the preparation, especially via WhatsApp if needed, to discuss locations, outfits, timing and final details. This preparation allows you to approach the session or wedding with peace of mind.
What should we wear for the session?
The most important thing is that you feel comfortable in what you wear. Your personal style absolutely belongs in the session.
To keep the focus on you, your connection and your gestures, it is simply best to avoid:
- very flashy or reflective clothing
- patterns that draw too much attention
- hair covering the face (for example, completely loose if very long)
Outfits that allow you to move freely help highlight expressions, details and shared moments without distracting from them.
What if it rains?
If weather conditions do not allow the session or outdoor shooting to take place (heavy rain, storm, strong winds…), the session may be rescheduled if possible. If the date cannot be changed, an alternative sheltered location will be arranged in advance. The goal is always to guarantee a pleasant experience and images created in good conditions.
What happens if I need to cancel the session?
In case of cancellation on your side, the deposit paid is retained. However, each situation is handled with care and transparency in order to find, when possible, the fairest solution.
If I am unexpectedly unable to attend, I always do my best to offer a new date or an alternative solution at no extra cost to you.
How many photos will I receive?
I deliver all the images I consider successful and faithful to what was experienced. There is no strict number imposed, nor do you have to choose between a burst of laughter, a knowing glance or a spontaneous gesture. Every detail matters, and each of these moments belongs in your memories.
How will I receive my photos?
After the session or wedding, your images are securely stored, then carefully selected and edited. Once ready, you will receive two links: a private online gallery to view them, and a download link for your high-resolution photos. You may then choose your included prints or order albums and additional prints.
When will I receive my photos?
Delivery times are discussed during our exchange and vary depending on the type of session or coverage. I deliberately take the necessary time to carefully select and edit your images to offer you the best possible result. As a guideline, allow around one month for sessions and up to three months for a wedding. If needed, a few preview images can be sent in the weeks following the event.
Do you travel?
Yes. I mainly travel within the Ardennes, Wallonia and Brussels, but I am also open to traveling elsewhere in Belgium or abroad depending on the project. Any travel costs are always specified in advance so everything is clear from the start.
Can pets be present during the session?
Pets are part of the family. If you would like them to be present during the session, that is absolutely possible, as long as the location allows it and everything is done safely.
What do you mean by natural and authentic photos?
Natural and authentic photos are images that stay true to what you experience, respecting the moment, the people and the context.
